Actress Parimani has reached the Detective Branch (DB) police office in the capital to speak for the investigation of the 'rape and attempted murder' case.

She reached the DB office around 3.30 pm on Tuesday. "We have called Parimani as the plaintiff in the case," said a senior detective.

The police will listen to her statement. After interrogating the accused in the case, some information has been found. They will also talk to Parimani about those issues, said the high-ranking official of the detective police.

Parimani filed a case with Savar Police Station on Monday alleging rape and attempted murder. That afternoon, DB police arrested five people, including Nasir Uddin Mahmud and Tuhin Siddiqui, the main accused in the case.

On Sunday evening, Parimani alleged rape and attempted murder in a status on her verified Facebook page.

In the post, she sought the intervention of the Prime Minister rather than justice.
