Mamata Banerjee's new cabinet was sworn in on Monday after winning the West Bengal assembly elections. There is no Tollywood star candidate in the 43-member cabinet.
The Trinamool Congress nominated Saini Ghosh, Saintika Bandyopadhyay, Jun Malia, Kanchan Mallick, Raj Chakraborty, Chiranjit, Lovely Maitra, Aditi Munshi and Kaushani Mukherjee.
June Malia, Lovely Maitra, Raj Chakraborty, Kanchan Mallick, Aditi Munshi and Chiranjit won the election. None of them are on the cabinet list.
The full ministers in Mamata's cabinet are Subrata Mukherjee, Perth Chatterjee, Amit Mitra, Sadhan Pandey, Jyotipriya Mallick, Bankimchandra Hajra, Manas Bhuiyan, Soumen Kumar Mohapatra, Malay Ghatak, Arup Biswas, Ujjwal Biswas, Arup Payak, Rathinath, Rathinath Shobhandev Chattopadhyay, Bratya Basu, Pulak Roy, Shashi Panja, Ghulam Rabbani, Biplob Mitra, Javed Ahmed Khan, Swapan Debnath and Siddiqullah Chowdhury. Becharam Manna, Subrata Saha, Humayun Kabir, Akhil Giri, Chandrima Bhattacharya, Ratna De Nag, Sandhyarani Tudu, Bulu Chick Barik, Sujit Bose and Indranil Sen have been made independent ministers of state. State Ministers Dilip Mandal, Akhruzzaman, Shiuli Saha, Srikant Mahato, Yasmin Sabina, Birbaha Hansda, Jyotsna Mandi, Adhikari Paresh Chandra and Manoj Tiwari.
