Some more bodies have been found floating in the Ganga in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in India. By Tuesday, the number of bodies floating in the Gangas had reached 71. In the last few days, more than 50 bodies have been found floating in the village of Gehmar on the banks of the Gangas in Uttar Pradesh's Gazipur district.

The floating corpses are swollen. According to local media reports, the bodies, which were washed away by the second wave of corona in India, are believed to be corona-infected people. On Monday, the administration confirmed that at least 40 bodies had been found floating on the banks of the Ganges in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

And the rest came on Tuesday. The administration started taking action after the news of the body being found floating in the river from Bihar on Monday.

Gazipur District Magistrate MP Singh said, "We are trying to find out where the bodies came from."
