The National Moon Sighting Committee will meet on Wednesday to decide the date of Eid-ul-Fitr. This information has been informed in a notification of the Islamic Foundation on Tuesday. The meeting will review the news of Shawwal moon sighting and take a decision in this regard.
The meeting will be held at 7 pm at the Baitul Mukarram meeting room of the Islamic Foundation. In the notification, it has been requested to inform the following telephone and fax numbers or the concerned Deputy Commissioner or Upazila Nirbahi Officer if the moon of Shawwal month is seen anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh.
