The Indian Cricket Board (ICB) has suspended the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to coronavirus. IPL chairman Brijesh Patel confirmed the information to ESPN Cricinfo on Tuesday. He said the decision was taken with everyone's safety in mind. Despite 28 matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) being held under tight biological protection, cricketers and staffers started getting attacked by Corona in the middle.

Players and support staff have been positive in four of the eight franchises. In such a situation, the organizers are struggling to keep the tournament going.

As a result, the Indian Cricket Board has announced the suspension of the IPL indefinitely. IPL vice-president Rajiv Shukla told ANI that the IPL has been postponed for this season.
