The ongoing leave of all secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions across the country has been extended till May 29, 2021. Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education MA Khair confirmed the information after 10 pm on Saturday. He said the health protection and overall safety of students, teachers, staff and parents have been taken into consideration as there has been an increase in the number of Kovid-19 outbreaks in Bangladesh and other parts of the world.
Therefore, in consultation with the National Advisory Committee on Covid-19, the ongoing leave of all educational institutions at secondary and higher secondary level has been extended till May 29, 2021.
During this time online education activities will continue and teachers-students and parents will follow the hygiene rules.
