On the news of his grandfather's death in Khulna, Child Mim left Dhaka for home with his parents and two sisters.

But before seeing his grandfather's body, she had to lose all his family members. Except for him, everyone who was with him died in the accident.

This time he has to go to see his grandfather's body with his parents and two sisters instead of their body. The speedboat sank.

So far 26 bodies have been recovered in the incident. Among them are the bodies of Mim's parents and two sisters.

The child was having lunch in a hospital room under the supervision of Delwar Fakir, an employee of Shibchar UNO office and night watchman of Banglabazar Speedboat Ghat. According to sources, Mim's father Monir Hossain, mother Hena Begum, two younger sisters Sumi (5) and Rumi (3) died in the speedboat accident.

Their bodies have been recovered. The body has been kept at a local school ground. The family's home is in Terkhada, Khulna. They were going there. Mehedi, a naval police constable who rescued Mim, said:

There were slight marks of injury near the hands and eyes. She was rushed to Panchkar Royal Hospital. All members of the child's family died. Baby Mim only knows that none of her mother, father, sisters are alive. Sometimes she cries because she is a mother.

Crying, Mim says, 'We were going to Grandpa's house. Grandpa is dead. To see him. I have no one else.
