The government has extended the current ban on coronavirus conditions until May 16, saying everyone will have to stay in their workplace this Eid holiday. On Wednesday, the Cabinet Division issued a notification extending the current ban on coronavirus infection to May 16.

According to the notification, all government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices and officials and employees of banks and financial institutions will be required to stay at their respective workplaces during the Eid holidays. Besides, shops and shopping malls will be open from 10 am to 8 pm.

However, if the hygiene rules are not followed, shops and shopping malls will be closed immediately. And make sure to use a mask.

If necessary, legal action will be taken against those who disobey the order by conducting a mobile court. Public transport will run in the same district during this time of restriction.

However, public transport from one district to another (inter-district) will remain closed. Passenger boats and trains will remain closed as before.

The new term will take effect from Thursday until midnight on May 16.
