Eid Jamaat was held in 75 mosques of Barisal division on Thursday. They are followers of Chandnaish Allahabad Jahagiriya Shahsufi Darbar Sharif of Chittagong.
When the moon is seen in any part of the world, they observe all the religious rituals including fasting, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha.
At the end of the prayers, they exchanged Eid greetings with each other. They want a tax-free world.
Amir Hossain Mithu, chairman of the management committee of Haji Bari Shahsufi Jahagiriya Jame Mosque in Tanjkathi, Ward 23, Barisal, a follower of Shahsufi Durbar Sharif, said they observe all religious acharyas in keeping with Saudi Arabia.
