The BNP has donated emergency medicine to the war-torn Middle Eastern country of Palestine. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir handed over the medicine to Palestinian ambassador to Bangladesh Yusuf Saleh Y Ramadan on Wednesday afternoon.

The Palestinian ambassador thanked the BNP for gifting the medicine. "The people of Palestine have been unjustly attacked and about 200 people, including women and children, have been killed," Mirza Alamgir told reporters.

In addition, many people have been injured. Many of their homes have been destroyed, schools and hospitals have been destroyed. We have already condemned the barbaric attack. As you know, we have written to the President of Palestine and announced our solidarity with him. He said, "We are here today with some emergency medicine and medical equipment."

These will at least contribute to the suffering of the oppressed people of Palestine. We are disappointed and outraged that the Government of Bangladesh lifted the ban on Israel from Bangladeshi passports on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs during the Palestine-Israel War. We think that the government did not do well when people all over the world are standing up for Palestine.

BNP health secretary was present at the time. Rafiqul Islam, BNP chairperson's media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan and others.
