People have to go through various restrictions in different countries to protect themselves from epidemics. As part of this, Egypt has banned all types of Eid al-Fitr festivals.
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli made the remarks at a news conference on Wednesday.
In this situation, all kinds of shops, restaurants and shopping malls in the country have been declared partially closed. Besides, all kinds of festivals of Eid-ul-Fitr have been banned.
The restrictions will be in effect for at least the next two weeks, starting today, Thursday. The country will also have Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from May 12 to May 16. However, all the parks and beaches will be closed for those five days.
Public transport will not work. Eid Jamaat will be held only in certain mosques. However, proper hygiene rules must be followed and children cannot be brought along.
