Every Saturday there is a market for buying and selling other necessities including cattle market.
People from far and wide take part in this buying and selling at the market. Cows and goats are sold at the large Kaharol market. The market runs from morning to afternoon. However, no hygiene nor local administration action was seen.
Instead, the overflowing crowd was seen at the cattle market in the heart of Kaharol. Some people, including local Sukumar, said that they went to the cattle market on Saturday afternoon and saw the overflowing crowd.
Where safe distance or no hygiene is being observed. This is also the case in other shops of the market. The shops show shopkeepers without masks and shoppers buying products without masks.
Meanwhile, the administration says, there is a lack of awareness among the people. Attempts are being made to persuade people in various ways to accept the lockdown. Need to be more stringent.
