The voluntary organization 'Safe Foundation' will distribute Iftar items to 20,000 people.
The program has started in the town of Nilphamari on the first day of Ramadan. Dewan Kamal Ahmed, Mayor of Nilphamari Municipality and Patron of the initiative inaugurated the event at Chowrangi Junction in the afternoon.
Another patron and managing director of Nuha Autorice Mill Syed Rakib Hasan Mishuk, head of SAIF Foundation Russell Amin Swapan and general secretary of district Chhatra League Masud Sarkar were present at the occasion. The organization distributed Iftar items to 20,000 poor people during Ramadan last year.
