Demonstrations and human chains have been held in the capital as well as in other parts of the country demanding the opening of shops in Lockdown.
The protest and human chain was held in the capital's old Dhaka. The program was celebrated under the banner of general traders of Chawkbazar, Moulvibazar and Mitford. They demanded to open all kinds of shops from 10 am to 5 pm in compliance with the health rules.
Similar protests were held in Siddhirganj and Sylhet in Narayanganj. Earlier on Monday and Sunday, traders of New Market staged protests in the capital demanding withdrawal of lockdown and keeping shops open.
