State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain has said that the strict restrictions on the ongoing 'all-out lockdown' will be relaxed from April 28.

He also said that besides gradually opening everything in compliance with the health rules, public transport and limited public and private offices will also be opened. On Friday, the state minister for public administration said that the restrictions will be relaxed after April 28.

A notification will be issued with guidelines on life. The issues will be mentioned there. "No mask no service" will be implemented 100 percent, he said, adding that people will wear masks and maintain physical distance.

Considering the issue of livelihood, the government has decided to keep the shops and shopping malls open from Sunday in compliance with the health rules in the lockdown to control the coronavirus. A notification has been issued by the cabinet department on Friday directing to keep shops and shopping malls open from 10 am to 5 pm. To curb the rise in coronavirus infections, the second phase of the strict curfew is to leave the country without emergency work from April 14, known as 'universal lockdown'. Earlier, the government imposed various restrictions from April 5 to 11 to avoid public outcry against the second wave of coronavirus.

Later, the ban was extended for two more days till April 13. However, at that time, public-private offices, factories, public transport were open. After that, all kinds of offices and transport were closed for a week from April 14, as well as restrictions were imposed on various areas including markets, hotels and restaurants.

However, manufacturing industries are allowed to operate in accordance with the hygiene rules. Transactions are going on in the bank during the lockdown from 10 am to 1 pm. As part of the precautionary measures, the banks have set up various branches with limited manpower.
