Actress and former MP Sarah Begum Kabari, who was infected with the corona virus, has been taken to life support.
Professor Farooq Ahmed, director of Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital, said his lungs were not in good condition.
Meanwhile, Shakir Chishti, the son of Kabari, has asked for prayers for everyone for the mother affected by the corona. In a video message from outside the hospital on Thursday afternoon, Chishti said,
It's not a good sign, she's fighting hard. We are hopeful that she will recover and return to us. I talked to him.
He has asked for blessings from the countrymen and fans. Later that night she was admitted to Kurmitola Hospital in the capital.
But his physical condition did not improve. She needed to be taken to the ICU on Wednesday night due to deteriorating physical condition. But the authorities could not provide it as there were no vacant ICU beds at Kurmitola General Hospital.
Later on Thursday afternoon, she was shifted to the ICU of Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital in Mohakhali.
