BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has been diagnosed with coronavirus infection. On Sunday, Maidul Islam, a senior information officer at the health ministry, confirmed the main issue.
Khaleda Zia has been suffering from fever for several days. So samples were collected from Firoza, a resident of Gulshan in the capital, on Saturday afternoon to find out if she was infected with corona. Later in ICDDR, that sample was tested.
Maidul Islam Pradhan, senior information officer at the health ministry, said the test was positive on Sunday afternoon. Authorities at a private hospital in the capital said they had been asked to set up a cabin in the corona unit to treat a patient's corona. On the other hand, a technologist went to Khaleda Zia's residence in Firoza to collect samples.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia's family and those involved in her treatment contacted a hospital in the capital.
Khaleda Zia's nephew said while taking samples. Mamun was present there. In addition to taking corona test samples, samples were also taken for his diabetes test.
Note that Khaleda Zia is on bail by the executive order of the government. She had to go to jail on February 8, 2018 in a corruption case.
After more than two years in prison, the government released him on six-month bail last year at the request of his family due to the Corona epidemic, which has been extended by three points.
She is currently receiving treatment at home. No one can see him except family members and personal physicians.
