At present the population of Bangladesh is 16 crore 63 lakhs

 

According to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the average life expectancy of women in Bangladesh is now 75 years.

At the same time, the average life expectancy of men in the country is 71 years. This information has been given in an annual publication titled World Population Situation-2021.

It further said that at present the population of Bangladesh is 16 crore 63 lakhs. According to the agency, 95 percent of children of school-age age go to school.

And among the age group suitable for going to secondary school, this rate is 62 percent. Regarding the abuse of women, it is said that in Bangladesh, 59 percent of adolescents get married before the age of 18.

And 29 percent of women were tortured by their husbands.
