The meteorological office said there could be thundershowers and scattered hailstorms in eight parts of the country.
In this situation, there is a fear of rain or thundershowers with temporary gusts or winds in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions including Comilla, Jessore and Kushtia areas till Sunday evening.
The Meteorological Department said this in a forecast on Saturday night. It is said that at present the increase of the western light pressure is located in the foothills of the Himalayas in West Bengal and adjoining areas. The normal light pressure of the season is in the South Bay. Meanwhile, daytime temperatures may rise slightly across the country tomorrow and nighttime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
At this time the wind speed in south-west or south direction in Dhaka will be 6 to 12 kmph. The weather is likely to change slightly by Monday. And in the extended five days the temperature may rise.
