Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has submitted her nomination papers for the Assembly elections. The Trinamool leader on Wednesday submitted her nomination to the Haldia sub-divisional magistrate's office as a candidate from Nandigram in East Midnapore district of West Bengal. In other words, Mamata is going to fight with her 'hand-made' leader, the new BJP Shuvendu Adhikari. Mamata had moved to Nandigram a day before submitting her nomination. She has been there since Tuesday.
Coincidentally, his rival Shuvendu Adhikari is also in Nandigram at the moment. She also held a meeting there in the morning. From there, she also taunted Mamata as a 'fake Hindu'. Subrata Bokshi and Sheikh Sufian were with Mamata while submitting nominations.
She went to Haldia by helicopter from Nandigram. Then walk one kilometer from Manjushree turn and reach the office of the sub-divisional governor. And submitted nomination papers in accordance with the process. Voting is in 294 constituencies of West Bengal. But Nandigram is at the center of the discussion. Guru-disciple fight in Nandigram this time.
Mamata Banerjee from Trinamool has become a candidate there. And to confront him, the BJP has brought down his one-time disciple Shuvendu Adhikari. Shuvendu once jumped into the land movement in Nandigram shoulder to shoulder with Mamata.
Shuvendu left the party leader's company and enrolled in Padma Shibir at the end of last year. He is scheduled to submit his nomination on Friday. The new BJP Mithun Chakraborty can also be seen campaigning on his behalf.
He also used to work as Mamata. Meanwhile, Haldia is full of posters saying 'Bangla wants her own daughter'. Thousands of people are floating outside the sub-divisional office. The slogan 'will play' is also rising.
