On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of the country's independence, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jimming presented a bronze mural of Bangabandhu to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He handed over the mural to Sheikh Hasina on behalf of the Chinese embassy. Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim later briefed reporters.
During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador expressed interest in providing one lakh doses of Corona Ticker to Bangladesh for immediate use.
He also conveyed the greetings of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the Prime Minister. Sheikh Hasina praised the Chinese Embassy for providing the mural of Bangabandhu.
