Bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ended. Five memorandums of understanding were signed at the summit at the Prime Minister's Office in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon. These five MoUs have been signed to enhance cooperation in various fields between the two neighboring countries.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed on cooperation in disaster management, removal of non-tariff barriers to trade and commerce, exchange of cooperation between the two countries' national cadet corps, communication of information and implementation of two projects in Rajshahi. Before the start of the bilateral meeting, a private meeting was held between the two heads of government.

Earlier, on arrival at the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina welcomed the Indian Prime Minister at the Tiger Gate. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Dhaka on Friday on a two-day visit to mark the golden jubilee of independence and the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu.
