Besides, 69,635 men and 46,665 women were vaccinated on Monday. Meanwhile, 44,13,892 people have registered for the vaccination app and website by 5:30 pm on Sunday.
It said 43,149 people were vaccinated in Dhaka division, 3,904 in Mymensingh division, 22,796 in Chittagong division, 11,471 in Rajshahi division, 9,196 in Rangpur division and 16,350 in Khulna division. Four thousand 459 people in Barisal division and four thousand 975 people in Sylhet division. A total of 9 lakh 84 thousand 488 people have been vaccinated in Dhaka division which is at the top in vaccination.
Besides, one lakh 39 thousand 28 people in Mymensingh division, seven lakh four thousand 599 people in Chittagong division, 3 lakh 55 thousand 381 people in Rajshahi division, two lakh 93 thousand 426 people in Rangpur division, four lakh 906 people in Khulna division, one lakh 51 thousand people in Barisal division. 931 people and one lakh 97 thousand 66 people in Sylhet division have been vaccinated against corona. Initially, the health department has set a target of vaccinating two lakh people every day.
But due to low interest of vaccinators, the target was reduced to one lakh per day. The age limit was reduced from 55 to 40 years as they did not respond. In other words, people above the age of 55 could get vaccinated outside the specified 15 categories. Later it was reduced to 40 years or above. Since then, the vaccination program has gained momentum. But since February 18, the number of vaccinators has been declining every day.
After reviewing the data of the vaccination program, it is seen that initially 577 people were vaccinated on two days on January 27 and 28. Officially, on the first day of the program on February 7, 31,160 people were vaccinated across the country.
On the second day, 8 February, the number was 46,509. On the third day, February 9, it more than doubled to one lakh one thousand 82 people.
On the fourth day, on February 10, one lakh 58 thousand 451 people were vaccinated. On the fifth day, on February 11, two lakh four thousand 540 people were vaccinated. Vaccination was closed on Friday 12 February. Over the next two days the vaccination came down a bit. Especially on the fifth day, after receiving more than two lakh vaccinations, the Ministry of Health announced the immediate closure of registration at the center.

On the ninth day, 16 February, the number of vaccinators increased to 226,902. On Wednesday, February 17, the tenth day, the number of vaccinators exceeded two lakh. Two lakh 26 thousand 755 people were vaccinated. On the 11th day, on 18 February, two lakh 61 thousand 945 people were vaccinated.
This is the highest number of vaccinators in a single day so far. Then the number of vaccinators decreases every day. Vaccination was closed on Friday, February 19th. On the 12th day, February 20, the vaccination rate is slightly lower than before.
