30 to 40 percent work of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City has been completed

 

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said, "We will be able to fully expose 'Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City' in Kaliakair by 2030."

30 to 40 percent work of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City has been completed. Work has been completed on 355 acres of land. He said this after inaugurating Orix Biotech Limited at 'Bangabandhu Hitech City' in Kaliakai, Gazipur on Monday afternoon.

Hosneara Begum, Managing Director (Secretary) of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City, Kazi Shakil, Chairman of Orix Biotech Limited and other officials were present on the occasion.

In three years they will go into production here. We are hoping that we would have to import at tk.1000 crore for plasma analysis.

We hope there will be 2,000 job opportunities here. 300 million investment will come. We will be able to go into import in the next five years.
