In the early hours of the International Mother Language Day, people from all walks of life laid wreaths at the Shaheed Minar in Morelganj, Bagerhat to pay homage to the language martyrs.
12 o'clock at 1 minute, the Upazila Executive Officer. Delwar Hossain, Upazila Parishad Chairman Adv. Shah-i-Alam Bachchu, Vice Chairman Mozammel Haque, Fahma Chabul, OC. Monirul Islam laid a wreath at the Shaheed Minar.
Tributes were paid at the Shaheed Minar on behalf of various governmental and non-governmental organizations including Municipality, Government SM College, Upazila Awami League, Juba League, Chhatra League, Tanti League, Upazila BNP, Municipal BNP, Chhatra Dal, Government Primary Teachers Association, Fire Service, Upazila Scout and Press Club.
