Bangladesh Muktijuddha Mancha (BMM) has made three demands, including banning Qatar-based television channel Al Jazeera from broadcasting in Bangladesh, alleging conspiracy. It was organized in protest of Al Jazeera's report. Their other demands are to take legal action against Al Jazeera and its reporter David Bergman. , Roman Hossain, Milon Dhali, President of Dhaka Metropolitan North Branch, Deen Islam Bappi, General Secretary and others.
In their speech, Aminul Islam Bulbul said that Al-Jazeera is acting as the mouthpiece of anti-independence force Jamaat-e-Islami and Muktijuddha Mancha is demanding to take appropriate legal action against it. Distorting the history of the Liberation War, the TV channel has in fact taken part in the campaign for the war criminals. The convener of this part of the stage, Professor AKM Jamal Uddin spoke on the occasion. At the end of the human chain, they burned the effigy of journalist David Bergman.
