Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan has said that the railway line from Dohazari to Cox's Bazar will be completed by 2022 and the train will be made suitable for running. As a result, Cox's Bazar can be reached by train by December next year. He said this while addressing a discussion meeting on the occasion of inauguration of Demu train at Patia railway station premises on Saturday at 2 pm.
Earlier, the Demu train was inaugurated at Dohazari railway station premises at 12 noon. Speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said, "Demu train has been provided here as a first step." More trains will be expanded up front.
