Maldives Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid is coming to Dhaka on a four-day visit on Monday. Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen invited him.

The foreign ministry said in a press release on Tuesday. During the meeting between the two foreign ministers, bilateral issues will be discussed. During his visit to Dhaka, Abdullah will pay a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Besides, a memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed between the Foreign Service Academies of the two countries. Over the past few years, 80,000 Bangladeshi workers have been working in the Maldives.
