Students have protested in Madaripur against the postponement of the ongoing exams

 

Students have staged demonstrations and human chains in Madaripur to protest the postponement of the National University exams.

Students took out a protest procession from Madaripur Government College around 12 noon on Thursday.

Later, they blocked the Madaripur-Shariatpur regional highway in the College Gate area with a procession.

Upon receiving the news, Sadar Model Police and District Detective Police tried for an hour to bring the situation under control. Later, the students lifted the blockade from the road with the assurance of the administration.

At that time, with a 24-hour ultimatum, the students demanded to take the ongoing examinations under the National University with Honors and Masters.

Otherwise, the students announced a larger movement. Madaripur Sadar Police Officer in Charge (OC) said. Kamrul Islam Mia said the students tried to block the road in the name of human chain and protest.

Later, when they understood, the students lifted the blockade.
