Sohrab Hossain, Additional Secretary to the Local Government Department, has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of Bangladesh Television (BTV). Khadija Begum has been made a member of the National Skills Development Authority under the Prime Minister's Office. Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration Mosammat Hamida Begum has been promoted to the post of Secretary, Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Additional Secretary to the Commerce Ministry Sharifa Khan has also been promoted to the post of secretary and made a member of the Planning Commission.
