Bahrain has suspended all mosque-based events and public gatherings for the next two weeks to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
The directive will be implemented from Thursday. The report said that a limited number of people will be present at the Friday prayers.
The Bahraini Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments has announced a two-week closure of mosques in the country, following the guidance of national medical experts on corona.
Last Tuesday, Saudi Arabia temporarily closed 10 mosques to prevent corona infection.
