BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi added, "Corona vaccine is being given in the country now. As we have said before, more research should be done on the corona vaccine that has been imported from India, its accuracy and the fact that it should be effective for the human body.
But the government did not do that and started unilaterally vaccinating Corona. As a result, the suspicion among the people has remained. Rizvi said this while participating in a protest procession from Paltan Junction to Vijay Nagar in the capital this afternoon.
The protest was organized by the Nationalist Fishermen's Party. At the time, Rizvi said, "People are not interested in the corona vaccine that has been brought from India." Only two lakh people have registered for vaccination in a country of 180 million people. This means that people have no interest in taking it. Rizvi further said, "The top to bottom of the Awami League is memorizing lies."
Two days ago, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam said that Bangladesh would provide 5,000 vaccines to Hungary. But we found out that there was no talk with Hungary about this. Because, Hungary itself is a developed country.
They should not be vaccinated from Bangladesh. That has been publicized in their media. They were told that they would not be vaccinated from Bangladesh. Among others, Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP president and BNP joint secretary general Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohail, general secretary Abul Bashar, fishermen's party member secretary Abdur Rahim, Swachchasebak Dal's health secretary Dr. . Zahidur Rahman, Juba Dal leader Gias Uddin Mamun, Sohail Ahmed, Swechchhasebak Dal leader Morshed Alam, Chhatra Dal leader Raju Ahmed and others.
