The Oxford-made AstraZeneca vaccine, made in India, is receiving 17 million doses of the vaccine. According to the Khabar Express Tribune, out of 17 million doses, 60 to 70 million doses of the vaccine will be available in the first four months of this year.

Pakistani authorities have already approved three vaccines for use in that country. Sinoform of China, Sputnik V of Russia, and Oxford-AstraZeneca. Some consignments of vaccines produced in India have been sent free of charge to neighboring Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Seychelles and Bahrain. Commercial exports are to Brazil and Morocco.
