Mustafizur Rahman, a young pacer from Bangladesh, has been selected for the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rajasthan Royals (RR) bought him for Rs 1 crore in an auction held on Thursday. Mustafiz's base price in the auction was Rs 1 crore.
Rajasthan Royals have taken him in the team at that price. No other team has shown interest in buying Fitz in the auction. Mustafiz has previously played two seasons for Sunrisers Hyderabad and one season for Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
Sunrisers have won the title once for Hyderabad. Bangladesh's 'Cutter Master' has taken 24 wickets at an economy rate of 7.51 and an average of 26.54 in 24 matches played in the IPL so far.
Kolkata Knight Riders bought Shakib for Rs 3 crore 20 lakh in the auction.
