More than 150 children have been rewarded for participating in the 40-day congregational prayer competition at Laksam in Comilla.
The award ceremony was organized by the Batakhali Social Development Foundation in the municipal town on Sunday afternoon.
It is learned that the social-voluntary organization 'Batakhali Social Development Foundation' organized a prayer competition in nine mosques of the village at the same time to encourage children and teenagers towards prayers. 153 children between the ages of 7 to 13 participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. Bicycles are provided to the best 7 participants in the competition. During this time, the remaining 146 contestants were given incentive prizes.
