Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said the death of writer Mushtaq Ahmed in jail was very sad.

He said an investigation committee has already been formed in this regard. Obaidul Quader hopes that the mystery of author Mushtaq's death will be revealed through investigation. He said this at the inaugural function of Service Week organized by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) on Sunday morning.

He joined the event via video conference from his official residence. He said the government is committed to ensuring that digital security is as important for digital Bangladesh as it is to ensure that the law is not misused. There will be absolute or exclusive right to say happy. Respecting the opinion of others is also a limitation of free expression. The general secretary of Awami League said that the government is very careful about the use of this law.

Obaidul Quader also said that it is important to keep an eye on the situation so that no person or organization can misuse the law. He urged everyone to refrain from this mischievous attempt. At this time, he said, the work of issuing driving license has started in full swing from today.

The long wait is coming to an end. Obaidul Quader said that the work of issuing licenses at the departmental level will also start in the next few days. Obaidul Quader directed the concerned to build BRTA as a proper service oriented organization and said that there is still customer suffering to get the services of this organization but this suffering is decreasing due to the use of technology. He said that if the coverage of digital services is increased, corruption and irregularities will be reduced a lot.

The Minister for Road Transport and Bridges has instructed the Divisional Commissioners to work with the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner to conduct a mobile court against any irregularities in the transport sector and to be vocal against the irregularities. Strictly instructing the concerned, he said that a sub-committee has already been formed at the Road Safety Council meeting to decide the strategy in this regard. He also called upon all the allies and fraternal organizations of the Awami League to observe the day.
