It has been alleged that a teenager named Shamim Hossain Sarkar (15) committed suicide in Faridganj, Chandpur by writing a letter to his lover and posting his status on social media Facebook. The incident took place at the government house in the municipal area late on Wednesday night.

Faridganj Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Shahid Hossain confirmed the matter and said the body was recovered. The body has been sent to Chandpur for autopsy.
