The global coronavirus epidemic has begun to decline. The virus rate has dropped by 16 percent in the past week.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported on Tuesday night. Analyzing the data for a week, the WHO said the death rate had dropped by 10 percent in the past week.

During this period, 81 thousand people have died and about 27 lakh people have been infected. Corona infections have decreased in five of the six regions in the world.

Of these, 20 per cent in Africa, 20 per cent in the Western Pacific, 18 per cent in Europe, 16 per cent in the US and 13 per cent in Southeast Asia. However, corona infections in the eastern Mediterranean have risen by 7 percent, the agency said.
