In the first innings of the third day-night Test of the series which started in India, the visiting England were bowled out for just 112 runs by Akshar Patel.

England were bowled out for 81 by Indian spinners Akshar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin. As a result, the target for victory in front of India is only 49 runs. Ben Stokes scored a maximum of 25 runs.
