Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members have been vaccinated against corona virus.

This morning, Additional Director General (Medical) of the BGB, Brigadier General Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Khan was the 1st BGB member to be vaccinated against the corona virus invented by Oxford-AstraZeneca in the United Kingdom.

Additional Director General of BGB, senior officers, soldiers and other civilians were present at the time. According to the government's plan, the corona vaccine will be administered to officers, JCOs and other members working in the BGB in 12 steps from today to February 20 (excluding Fridays) every day from 9 am to 2 am.

In this context, a total of 300 BGB members, including uniformed and civilian BGB members, have been vaccinated against corona virus in the first phase today.

Subsequently, a plan has been taken to give this vaccine to a total of 3600 people from BGB headquarters and other units in Peelkhana at a rate of 300 people per working day.
