An organization called 'Maulik Bangla' has staged a cot procession to protest the death of writer Mushtaq Ahmed while he was in jail.
While reciting Kalema, the procession started moving towards Shahbag. The procession toured the Shahbagh area and ended at the Raju sculpture area.
Abu Mustafiz led the program organized under the banner of the people of Bangladesh. Convener of Basic Bengal Russell Ahmed and President Farid Ahmed were present in the procession. At the end of the program, Abu Mustafiz told the media, Because, Bangladesh has become a corpse today.
We have given this program on behalf of the people. Protested. When the organizer of Khulna Jute Mill Movement Ruhul Amin came out to join the procession, the DB police arrested him and filed a case against him. We protest these incidents.
