The Bangladesh cricket team has left the country for New Zealand to play T20 and three ODIs.

Tamim will lead the team in ODIs and Mahmudullah in T20s. The two-team series will start with a three-match ODI series.

The Tigers left Dhaka for Singapore Airlines from Hazrat Shahjalal Airport at 5pm on Tuesday to play a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20 series starting March 20. The flight is scheduled to take off at 4.15pm and land at 9pm Bangladesh time.

Mushfiqur Rahim, Taskin Ahmed and Mahmudullah Riyadh asked the people to pray before boarding the flight.

Tamim, Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah came to the airport directly from their homes.

Besides, 10 cricketers reached the airport from BCB Academy. A director of the board is also accompanying the team on the overseas tour under overall supervision. Jalal Yunus has joined the Tigers in the New Zealand tour.
