Haji Abul Hasnat, former founding president of the Awami League and a member of the Awami League's advisory council, is no more.
He (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Raziun) died at a hospital in the capital this afternoon. He was 79 years old at the time of his death.
Abul Hasnat was suffering from various diseases for a long time. He was 79 years old. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters. Abul Hasnat is the outgoing president of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League and a member of the party's Central Advisory Council.
Earlier, he was the president of Greater Lalbagh Thana Awami League for a long time.
