All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has returned to the Indian Premier League (IPL). Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has bought him for Rs 3 crore 20 lakh in the auction held on Thursday.

With this, he returned to KKR again. According to a report of Cricinfo, the base price of Shakib in the auction was 2 crore rupees. Besides KKR, Punjab Kings were also interested in auctioning Shakib.

But in the end, KKR bought Shakib for Rs 3 crore 20 lakh. Shakib, an experienced cricketer, left-arm all-rounder in IPL.

He has been playing regular IPL since 2011. However, he could not play the last match due to the ban. So far, he has played 74 matches in the IPL and scored 746 runs at an average of 21. Strike rate 126.7.

He also took 59 wickets with an economy rate of 7.46 and an average of 28 runs. A total of 292 cricketers have been finalized in this year's IPL draft.
