In the opening match, Syedpur Football Coaching Center defeated Nilphamari Town Club 5-3. Arif Hossain Moon, general secretary of the district sports body, said eight teams were participating in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup.
Syedpur Football Coaching Center, Nilphamari Town Club, Syedpur Football Academy, Kheladar Kalyan Samiti Nilphamari, Ashir Uddin Football Academy, JD Eleven Jaldhaka, Sefaul Smriti Sangsad Gorgram and Kishoreganj Football Academy will play in it.
