Thousands of people have gathered at the janaza of Mahbub Alam Mridul, director of Walton Group. Funeral services were held at Gosai Joair Azim Memorial High School ground in Tangail Sadar Upazila on Friday (January 22). People from all walks of life including administration, politics and society have expressed their deepest condolences on his death.
Jananay Sadar MP Chanowar Hossain, Walton Group Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited Vice Chairman SM Shamsul Alam, Managing Director Engineer Golam Morshed, SM Rezaul Alam Shamim, Mahbub Alam Khalid, Executive Director Risingbid. Deputy Commissioner. Ataul Gani, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Shahjahan Anshari, former chairman Khorshed Alam and more than 10,000 people took part. He was later buried in the family cemetery.
At 6:23 pm on Thursday (January 21), Mahbub Alam Mridul, director of Walton Group, died at a private hospital in the capital. He was 23 years old.
Mahbub Alam Mridul was born on 25 January 1997 in the village of Gosai Joair in Sadar upazila of Tangail.
