State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain has said that the country's educational institutions, which have been closed for a long time due to coronavirus infection, will be reopened any day in February.

We will open the educational institution any day in February," he told reporters at the secretariat on Tuesday. I will fix the time in accordance with the instructions of the government and the direction of the Ministry of Health and the Prime Minister.

Replying to another question, the state minister said, "I am thinking of opening the school in the first or second week of February.

Letters have already been issued to the educational institutions to prepare and they have been asked to follow a guideline, said Zakir Hossain.

The state minister said the school would be reopened and classes would be introduced on certain days of the week. In this case, the fifth class will be taught one or two days a week and thus the third and fourth classes will be taught in phases. And first and second class classes will be taken once a week.

Asked about the guidelines for opening private and kindergarten schools, he said, "I don't know anything about private and kindergarten schools." Kindergarten does not take any registration from us. So we have no responsibility for them.

Regarding corona vaccination, the state minister said, "I have sent a letter to the health ministry to bring all teachers and staff under vaccination." And since they have not decided to vaccinate those under 18, students will not get it.

In a government decision on January 15, the ongoing holidays of all educational institutions in the country (except Qaumi) were extended till January 30 to control the outbreak of corona. Earlier, the leave was extended to January 16 to prevent the spread of the virus.
