The girl's mother has claimed that Anushka Nur Amin, an 'O' level student from Kalabagan in the capital, had no love affair with Dihan. He made the demand at a press conference organized by Bangladesh Mahila Parishad at the Zahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall of the National Press Club on Wednesday. At the same time, he wants a fair investigation and justice for rape and murder.
At the press conference, the family called on the government to expedite the case, bring Dihan and his accomplices to justice, conduct transparent DNA tests and ensure that the student's family does not suffer unwanted inconveniences.
Referring to the incident on that day, Anushka's mother said that on January 7, Dihan and his accomplices abducted her daughter and took her home. There he was called after inhumane torture, rape and murder of his daughter. Dihan called him and told him that his daughter had become senseless.
I came to the hospital and saw that Dihan and his three companions were sitting," he said. They hugged my legs and said 'Aunty save us'. If you want to see the girl, you are not allowed to go. The doctor on duty later informed me, 'My daughter has died.
The student's mother further said, I ask Dihan, where did I find my daughter, why did she die? Then he says, 'The four of us took him to our house, where he fainted.' Then I want to know if there were any other girl friends or parents at home. "The four of us took him away," says Dihan. Then I do not understand ....
She complained that the police did not take the case the way they wanted. Also a mahal is trying to kill the character of his daughter to hide Dihan and his accomplices. Saying, Dihan had a love affair with his daughter. Claiming that this was not true, he said that the interviews of some officials had been distorted and disseminated through social media.
At the press conference, the father of the student said that the girl would not do anything or go anywhere without his permission. He was also in danger that day or called to ask permission to go out. But he could not catch the call. If I could have picked up the phone, the accident might not have happened.
Acting President of the Bangladesh Women's Council. Fauzia Moslem said the autopsy report said "the student was not tortured." But the picture shown by the student's mother showed sore marks on the back, which was not mentioned in the report. He demanded the formation of a 'Sexual Harassment Complaints Cell' in every educational institution as per the High Court verdict.
