A training plane of Glasgow Flying Academy has crashed at Hazrat Shahmakhdum Airport in Rajshahi. The incident took place on the runway of the airport around 3 pm on Saturday. However, no one was injured.
Airport security supervisor Abdul Matin confirmed the matter.
He said the training aircraft belonged to Galaxy Flying Academy. The plane crashed on the runway. He added that the plane was damaged. However, no casualties were reported. Biman's coach Captain Mashiur Rahman and trainee Raihan Gafur are unharmed.
Airport Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nur Alam said air traffic was disrupted for a while due to the accident.
