The next day after getting married in love, a college student named Tanvi came to her husband's house as a bride and returned as a corpse. Jannatul Rubaiyat Tanvi, 21, a student of the local Jobeda Rubia Government Women's College, committed suicide by hanging herself at her husband's house the day after the marriage, despite having a long love affair. 

She committed suicide by wrapping a sari with a ceiling fan in her bedroom at her husband Sim's house around 10:30 am on Wednesday. Tanvi is the youngest daughter of Hashem Khanshur, a former manager of Agrani Bank in Jarashahibagh area of ​​Basail municipality in Tangail and Beauty Akter, a former female member of Basail Sadar Union. Tanvir's husband is Sadek Ahmed Saim (34), son of late Ghiyasuddin of Paschimpara in the municipality. Both the families have given contradictory statements on the issue of Tanvir's death.

It is learned that Sim and Tanvir's family have good acquaintances as well as residents of the area. The love affair developed between the two due to good family relationship and identity. The relationship was not well received by Tanvir's family. Tanvi and Sayem's marriage proposals from different places, but neither of them got married.

They got married on Tuesday with the consent of the two families. The next day, she committed suicide by wrapping a sari with a ceiling fan in her bedroom. In this regard, Tanvir's brother-in-law Shakil Khan said, both brothers and sisters-in-law are suitable for the age of marriage. In the presence of local dignitaries, Bhabhi's (Tanvi) family ended the ceremony with the wedding cabin, but they were unhappy with the girl. This morning (Wednesday) when Bhabhi sent me and my brother Sayem to the market, she looked very horrible. He is thought to have committed suicide in a fit of rage after arguing on a mobile phone with his parents that morning.

 Tanvir's father Hashem Khanshur said, "I have completed the marriage work in person." The death of a daughter just one night after the wedding is truly tragic and cannot be taken for granted. "I believe my daughter was persuaded to commit suicide," he said. I will proceed with the case after receiving the postmortem report.

Basail Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Harunur Rashid said the body was recovered and sent to the morgue for autopsy. An unnatural death case has been filed at Basail police station.
